In rare cases, it may be necessary to replace or reassign the sensor unit in the ladybird. If this is necessary, please follow the steps below:
After the reassignment:
⚠️ Important note: This function should only be used if it is really necessary, e.g. in the event of a sensor replacement or incorrect assignment. Please only carry out this action if instructed to do so by our customer support team or after receiving a corresponding message.
- Connect the station: Plug the MARY transmitter/receiver station into a power source.
- Place the ladybird in the charging cradle: Place the new ladybird to be connected with the sensor unit in the charging case so that the charging process starts.
- Remove other ladybirds: Make sure that there are no other ladybirds with the sensor unit in the same room or within a radius of 6 metres.
- Start app: Open the MARY by sticklett app.
- Call up the device settings:
- Tap on the wheel symbol in the top bar or
- Go to the menu and select device settings. - Reset the ladybird: Scroll down to Maintenance and tap on the arrow symbol next to Reset ladybird.
- Confirm: Select Yes to confirm the reset.
- Automatic connection: The MARY transmitter/receiver station switches to Bluetooth search mode and automatically connects to the sensor unit in the ladybird, which is located in the charging case.
After the reassignment:
- Allow the ladybird to charge: Leave the ladybird in the charging cradle until it is fully charged.
- Removal and waiting time: As soon as you take the ladybird out of the charging cradle, it takes about 2 minutes for it to start sending values.
- Attaching to the child: Attach the ladybird to the child's clothing during this time.
- Vital signs: As soon as the sensor detects a body temperature of over 35°C, the vital signs are displayed in the app.
