You can use the thermometer symbol to constantly monitor your child's body temperature and display the temperature curve throughout the day. This function is particularly useful if your child is ill and you want/need to take a temperature at regular intervals.
NOTE: MARY is not a medical device and therefore does not replace a clinical thermometer. It informs you of changes in temperature behaviour. Before initiating medical measures, please check with a clinical thermometer.
- A green thermometer means the temperature is within the normal range.
- Yellow thermometer means the temperature has exceeded the set threshold value.
- Red thermometer means a rapid rise in temperature
Under Menu --> Settings, you can customise the alarm settings for the yellow and red thermometers or be notified of changes.
NOTE: The ladybird automatically goes into energy-saving mode if the IR temperature sensor detects a temperature below 30°C. As soon as the sensor detects a temperature above 35°C again, Mary is woken up and is ready to measure vital signs.
