Important: In order to ensure a correct measurement, the MARY clothing must be close-fitting and lie directly on your child's skin. The smart textile in the red circle transmits the temperature to the sensor.
The medically certified infrared temperature sensor in the MARY Ladybird regularly measures your child's temperature every 60 seconds. This sensor is also used in forehead and ear thermometers and has a small deviation of 0.5°C, which is medically accepted.In contrast to classic clinical thermometers, which only measure the temperature once every few seconds, MARY continuously records the temperature progression. At the beginning, MARY needs some time to adjust to the body temperature - similar to old quicksilver thermometers. After that, however, it provides you with a reliable overview of your child's temperature profile. According to experts, this trend is more meaningful than individual readings.Body temperature often fluctuates greatly throughout the day, which is completely normal. Individual measurements can therefore sometimes be misleading.It can happen that you measure with a clinical thermometer and notice a slight deviation.
