BREATHING PATTERN

Using the lung icon in the app’s main view, you can constantly monitor your child’s breathing patterns and, by tapping the icon, view their breathing history throughout the day.

When the ladybird is positioned correctly on the chest, breaths are recorded based on the movements of the chest.

The colour of the lungs visualises the breathing pattern, letting you know how your child is doing and when your intervention is required:

  • A green lung icon indicates regular breathing movements.
  • A red lung icon indicates that irregular breathing movements have been detected or that there are no movements at all.

NOTE: Mary is not a medical device – it merely monitors vital signs and alerts you to changes in your child’s vital condition. In the event of an alarm, please first check on your child and then take further action or contact your trusted doctor.
Set up breathing notifications:

Under Menu --> Configure Alarms, you can enable or disable the breathing monitoring alarm. To do this, simply slide the toggle under Info, when irregular breathing is detected, to ‘on’.
