Alarms and notifications

To avoid being flooded with smartphone notifications from the MARY app (particularly for iPhone users when the app is active), you can disable app notifications in your smartphone’s settings by switching them to ‘silent’ or ‘vibrate only’. This way, you’ll still receive the alarm, but no further notifications from your smartphone.

Baby monitor function during falling asleep

Note on MARY’s baby monitor function:

Especially during the sensitive phase when your baby is falling asleep, alarms may sound more frequently if the “Baby is awake” alarm function is activated. This is because MARY is doing exactly what it was designed to do – closely monitoring active movements.

To avoid unnecessary alarms caused by kicking, babbling, etc., during this phase, you can either temporarily deactivate the alarm function until your baby has fallen asleep, or adjust the activity sensitivity to suit your needs and use MARY in the way that works best for you.

By default, the movement sensitivity is set to be very sensitive and short. If you do not want to be alerted by every movement your child makes, you can increase the time interval before an alarm is triggered.
